Etchings on Black Granite Monuments
For the individual who prefers the sharp detail that an etching can provide; a religious figure, actual person, fraternal or civic emblem or an outdoor scene can be placed on any dark granite.
We recommend black granite for this process. The advantage to etchings over sandblasting the design is greater detail is shown. Facial and nuances are seen in minute detail.
One common denominator especially with dark granites is that the monuments I design all have bold family name letters. This is my personal taste. I believe that the family name is important and should stand out on your memorial.
